A native sheep breed from Northwest Portugal. It is a ruminant mammal with a wavy coat, denominated “wool”, that is often white and that covers the animal’s entire body, except for its head and extremities of the limbs. Males have spiral horns, which are rare in females. It can be used for clearing and maintaining vegetation in meadows. Bordaleira de Entre Douro e Minho Sheep Ovis aries Bovidae
